Our guidelines for client reviews
We love hearing about your experiences as a client! To ensure that your reviews are of maximum help to others looking for advice, please follow the below guidelines.
First-hand experience
The VouchedFor community wants to hear about your experience. Please only provide reviews based on substantial first-hand experiences you’ve had and be sure to include enough detail in your review that other users will find your advice helpful, the more evidence-based the better.
Client within the past 5 years
We ask that you leave a review only if you’ve been a client of the professional within the last 5 years. The best reviews are those that are written within this time frame.
First Impression reviews
We ask enquirers to leave a first impression review for the professionals that they contact through VouchedFor. All of our guidelines apply to these reviews, however, to leave a first impression you would not necessarily be a client at the time that you leave the review.
Adviser is listed on VouchedFor
A review must be for the specific professional you are leaving a review for. Please check that your review is for the adviser named on the profile. The only exception to this is if the adviser named on the profile refers you to a colleague within the same firm. It is acceptable to review the colleague as long as you clearly reference that you are reviewing the colleague in your review.
Abusive reviews and how we respond
We will not tolerate abusive reviews. We allow you to speak freely on matters, but remove content that appears to purposefully target individuals with the intention of degrading or shaming them. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Sharing personal information in order to blackmail or harass
- Hate speech, prejudiced language, threats or personal insults that are unrelated to the service being reviewed
- Bad language
If we deem a review to be abusive, it will be removed from all public pages on VouchedFor.
VouchedFor reserves the right to remove a review, for any reason. The reviews posted on VouchedFor are subjective opinions from individuals unrelated to VouchedFor. The opinions expressed in reviews are those of VouchedFor users and not of VouchedFor Ltd.
In accordance with our Privacy Policy, VouchedFor does not release anyone's personal contact information.
