Our review verification policy

We conduct regular checks on the validity of reviews to ensure they remain trusted by consumers, and powerful for advisers.

To aid us in these checks, we may contact advisers to ask for evidence of their professional relationship with a client who has left a review. Where necessary, we may also contact clients.

We make this clear to clients who leave a review, asking them to confirm they understand that we may ask for this evidence.

If any issues are found after requesting or receiving this evidence, we may take any of the following actions:

  • Removing any reviews that cannot be verified to our satisfaction
  • Removing the adviser’s VouchedFor profile entirely
  • In serious cases where there may be detrimental impact on consumers, we may notify the relevant firm’s compliance function or other relevant body.

How did we do?
