Custom Email Invite Templates

Edited

Want to personalise the invites your clients receive? You can now create a custom email template tailored to your firm or network.

This feature gives your firm or network the flexibility to send invites that reflect your tone of voice and brand, while keeping things simple for your team.

What you can do

As a firm or network user, you can:

  • Choose from available invite templates in the dropdown when sending invites.

  • Use your chosen template as-is, or tweak the content for a one-off send (just like you can today).

  • Set your default template, so it’s automatically pre-selected for future invites.

Note: You can still edit the invite content for one-off sends. Permanent changes must be made by your Account Manager.

How it works

  • Templates are created and managed by your Account Manager.

    • They’ll work with you to write and save a custom email invite template in our internal tool.

    • Templates can be saved for your firm or network.

    • Only Account Managers can add, edit or delete templates permanently.

  • You can switch templates from your portal’s invite tool:

    • Just use the dropdown to pick the template you’d like to use.

    • You’ll see:

      • Firm-level templates (if you’re a firm user)

      • Network-level templates (if you’re a network user)

Template priorities

If both your firm and network have custom templates:

  • If you’re sending the invite from the network, you’ll see and use the network template.

  • If you’re sending the invite from the firm, you’ll see and use the firm template.

Making changes

  • To request a new template or update an existing one:

    • Contact your Account Manager.

    • Let them know what you'd like the invite to say, and whether it’s for your firm or your network.

    • They’ll set it up in Nellie and make it available in your portal.

Tips

  • Choose a default template to save time.

  • Edit the invite copy at send time if you want to personalise it further.

  • Want to trial different messaging? Just switch templates and compare results.
