Customising Bulk Invite Emails with Merge Fields

Edited

The bulk invite tool allows you to send personalised emails at scale by using merge fields, placeholders that automatically populate with each recipient’s and adviser's details.

What Are Merge Fields?

Merge fields are special tags (e.g. [first name]) that you can include in your email body. When the email is sent, these tags are replaced with the actual data for each contact or adviser.

For example:

  • Writing Hi [first name], becomes Hi Sarah, in the sent email.

Supported Merge Fields

You can include any of the following merge fields in your message:

Merge Field

Description

[first name]

The recipient’s first name

[adviser full name]

The full name of the adviser

[adviser url]

Unique link to leave feedback

[adviser phone]

The adviser's phone number

[firm name]

The name of the adviser's firm

[adviser email]

The adviser's email address

Mandatory Merge Fields

To ensure the emails are properly personalised and functional, you must include the following three merge fields in your message:

  • [first name]

  • [adviser full name]

  • [adviser url]

If these fields are missing, the tool won’t allow you to send the email.
