Why do we ask for advisers’ gender?
We’re gathering gender information from advisers to better understand and improve our services to support our mission to help every consumer access the best advice for them.
Currently, around 16% of advisers in the UK identify as women or non-binary. We know that some clients may prefer working with advisers who share their identity, so collecting this data helps us to ensure a more personalised experience.
With this new filter, users will be able to search specifically for advisers who identify with a selected gender. Advisers who prefer not to disclose their gender will still appear in the results unless the user specifies a particular gender preference.
