Code of Conduct
When using the VouchedFor service as a Professional, you agree to:
- Respond to enquiries promptly (within one business day).
- Be courteous, honest, helpful, welcoming and respectful.
- Converse with all potential clients in plain, easy-to-understand English.
- Conduct your business honestly and transparently.
- Deal with complaints promptly and professionally.
- Never place pressure on a consumer to edit or remove feedback the consumer believes to be genuine.
- Abide by all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements as set out by your governing body (e.g. FCA, ACCA or SRA) and English law.
- Ensure your online profile is true, fair and accurate in all material respects and complies with all applicable regulatory or statutory requirements.
- Our staff aim to always be polite, helpful and treat you with respect. We ask they are treated likewise in return, and will not tolerate any abuse, discrimination or unprofessional behaviour towards our team.
Our Code of Conduct also applies to behaviour outside of a professional setting (i.e. online forums) where that behaviour reflects badly on the advice profession.
Behaviour that breaches our Code of Conduct may result in further action being taken.
